The Nile Cruise begins in Aswan or Luxor, overnight on the Sonesta Cruiser.
Venture into the Temple of Philae and cruise down the Nile to Kom Ombo, a famous
healing temple in ancient days and now a gloriously picturesque edifice overlooking
a bend in the Nile. We continue cruising through the countryside to Edfu. The
temple celebrates the legendary battle between Horus and Seth. Now off we go
to Luxor where over 85% of the known antiquities of the world are found and
explore the west bank of ancient Thebes. Visiting the Valley of the Kings, with
its royal tombs. En route at Karnak and visit the famous Temple of Karnak of
Amun Ra, the invisible god. At Karnak wrap up the journey and say good bye to
the Sonesta Cruise.
