Day 1. BANGALORE :
Arrive Bangalore. Transfer to hotel. Afternoon
drive through the garden city with its numerous
avenues of jacaranda, gulmohar and cassia. Visit
the Bull temple, and Tipu's summer palace. Drive
past numerous parks. The Vidhan Sauda and downtown
commercial center. Overnight Bangalore.
Day 2. BANGALORE / HASSAN (4 hrs)
:
Drive to Hassan via Protima Bedi's dance village.
Arrive Hassan by lunch. Post lunch visit to Sravanabelagola
to see the statue of Gomatesvara, 1 7m tall erected
in 980 AD. Check into hotel. Post lunch tour of
the famous Hoysala temples of Halebid and The
Chennakesava temples of Belur.Overnight Hassan.
Day 3. HASSAN / MYSORE (2 1/2
hrs) : Drive to Mysore via Srirangapatnam.
Visit fort, Tipu Sultan's palace and The Gombaz.
Arrive Mysore by lunch. Evening at leisure to
visit the beautiful Brindavan gardens. Overnight
Mysore.
Day 4. MYSORE :
Full day city tour. Visit the spectacular Amber
Vilas city palace and Nandi Bull at the Chamundi
hills. Later visit sandalwood oil factory and
Mysore silk factory. Overnight Mysore.
Day 5. MYSORE / OOTY (4 hrs) :
Drive to Ooty, passing through lush forests of
Bandipur and Madumalai wildlife sanctuary from
where the road climbs up to Ooty Through eucalyptus
and tea plantations. Check into hotel. Later visit
the Botanical gardens and Toda tribal village.
Evening at leisure to stroll around the lake.

Day 6. OOTY:
Day free to enjoy the lake side or the gardens.

Day 7. OOTY / COONOOR:
Early morning drive to Dodabefta peak, the highest
in The Nilgiris. After breakfast, drive to Coonoor.
Check into hotel. Rest of day at leisure to visit
Sims park, and enjoy cool walks Through tea estates
or drive to Lambs' Rock for a view of the plains.

Day 8. COONOOR / COCHIN (6 hrs)
Morning at leisure. Later board The Blue Mountain
Express down to Meilupalcyam. Drive to Cochin.

Day 9. COCHIN
Full day tour of Mattancherry palace, Jewish synagogue
and a back-water cruise to Bolghatty palace. Also
view Chinese fishing nets. Evening view traditional
Kathakali classical dance recital. Overnight Cochin.

Transfer to airport to board morning flight to
Goa. Check into beach resort. Day at leisure.

Day 1.
Arrive Bangalore.Transfer to railway station for
overnight train ,Hampi Express at 8.30 am.
Day 2. HOSPET / HAMPI :
Arrive Hospet 7am. Transfer to hotel. Later drive
to Hampi 13 kms. Hampi was once the seat of the
Vijaya Nagar empire and a great centre of Hindu
rule for over 200 years from its foundation in
1336. The site has now been declared as one of
the World Heritage sites with it's architectural
masterpieces built mostly during the 20 year reign
of Krishna Deva Raya( 509-1529). Visit the Sacred
Centre, Vithala temple, Kings Balance, Sugrivas
cave, Krishnapura,Royal enclosure, Zenana Durbar

Day 3. HAMPI :
Morning explore the Hampi monuments. Later in
the evening transfer to railway station for train
to Bangalore. Overnight train.
Day 4. BANGALORE :

Drive to Madikeri, capital of Coorg. It is a small
attractive town in a beautiful hilly setting surrounded
by the forested slopes of the Western ghats. On
arrival transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at

Day 8. COORG / NAGARHOLE :
In the morning visit coffee and cardamom plantations.
There is an abundance of lush green expanse.
Rosewood. silver oak and cascading waterfalls.
Later in the afternoon drive to Kabini River Lodge,
a favourite haunt of actress Goldie Hawn. Situated
on the outskirts of Nagarhole wildlife sanctuary.Overnight
Kabini.
Day 9. NAGARHOLE / KABINI :
Morning/evening wildlife safari. The park is well
known for elephants, Indian bison, wild dogs,
antelopes, monkeys panthers and many varieties
of birds.Optional extension for keen angler to
hunt for the mighty mahseer in the Cauvery river
at the Cauvery Fishing Camp (50 kms from Kabini).Overnight
Kabini.
