: Trek through lush green forest onto the meting
glacier immortalized by the legends of Jim Corbett,
Kumaon lies Himalayan belt west of Nepal.
The districts of Almora, Pithoragarh are a treasure
house for botanists and iconologists. Dotted with
tiny and temples, forests of pine, rhododendron,
oak, cedar and cypress provide a haven for trekkers.
The central Himalayan range stretches overhead from
Kailash to Mt Api in Nepal. West of Almora, at an
altitude of 1938m, is Set around the shores of a
willow fringed deep blue lake, with tiny perched
on mountain sides, it is a charming hill station
full of orchards king excursions to Bhimtal, Khurpatal
and Binayak are an exercise in Kausani, a tiny resort
51 kms from Almora, inspired Mahatma Gandhi to memorable

Day 1. DELHI I SHIVPURI 1 5 hrs

Drive to Rishikesh early morning and enroute visit
the places of interest in and around Rishikesh Laxman
Jhula and the numerous religious and Yoga centres.
After a drive about 30 km to the rafting camp where
you shall spend the nigh banks of the river Ganges.
Overnight Ganga Banks riverside resort.
Day 2 . RISHIKESH
Enjoy a morning rafting experience to Rishikesh
with lunch enroute. The entire trip would take about
5 hrs of rafting , of the worlds, best whitewater
with each of the major rapids being given a name.
The trip ends at Muni Ki Reti from where you shall
to Haridwar, the river side town which otters a
fusion of cultures a where the Holy Ganga descends
to the plains, lazily meandering horizon. Here in
Haridwar, which in English literally means the "The
Do Lord" you shall visit temples and also enjoy
evening prayers offered by priests to the Goddesses.
Also visit the famous Transmeditational Centre the
Beatles lived. Overnight Ganga Banks riverside resort.
Day 3. GANGA BANKS / CORBETT
Early in the morning start your Corbett National
Park, an area rich in natural beauty. Evening at
leisure riverside, Tiger Tops Corbett Lodge. Overnight
Corbett.
Day 4. CORBETT
Early morning wake up call at dawn and after a quick
tea, proceed to the jungle to catch a glimpse of
the abounding mg leopard, hyena, Cheetal, Sambar
and tiger. You shall be accompanied naturalist in
Jeep I elephant back and the driver who himself
is an e:is totally at home in the vast Corbett National
Park, covering a total ( miles or 323 sq. km. Evening
bonfire and bar - be - que. Overnight Corbett.
Day 5. CORBETTI MUKTESHWAR (2 hrs
)
Morning free to explore the river and environs.
After breakfast drive 60 km to Nainital, a beautiful
and popular hill station. Visit Bhimtal one of the
many tals or "Lakes" in that area. After
lunch proceed to Mukteshwar the temple town about
51 km away. Enroute pass through Bhowali, the health
resort of the area. Upon arrival in Mukteshwar check
into the mountain trail resort. Overnight Mukteshwar.
Day 6. MUKTESHWAR / BINSAR (3 to
4 hrs)
After breakfast visit the many temples and proceed
to Jageshwar, a little town surrounded by deodar
forests. This town was favored by the Chand rajas
who built a multitude of temples here. The cluster
at Jageshwar consists of 164 temples built over
different periods by successive rulers. The richly
carved and ornamented temples are an archeological
treasure. A small pond, known as the "Bhrama
Kund" is considered to be holy and pilgrims
have a ritual bath here before entering the temples.
Proceed to Binsar, one of the most scenic spots
around Almora. At 2500 m, it offers an excellent
view of the surrounding mountains. Upon arrival
into Binsar check into mountain resort. Overnight
Binsar.
Day 7. BINSAR / PANCHESHWAR
Drive to Pancheshwar 16 hrs( and set out to camp
on the banks of the Maha Kali river. the holy river
of the kingdom 0 Nepal and river Sarda meet here.
There is a beautiful temple on the opposite side
of the confluence and myth has it that there is
a temple on the bed of the confluence. No one is
allowed to fish at that side of the confluence Evening
bonfire. Overnight camp and chota peg I perhaps
a catchy fish bar - be - cue
Day 8. PANCHESHWAR
The town of Pancheshwar is well known through the
district for its ability to throw up huge Mahaseer,
the Salmon of the Indian rivers. The Golden Mahaseer
is the prize fish in the northern parts of India
an( a good catch may measure in at more than 30
lbs. Start your day at dawn and fish the waters
till breakfast. Full day at leisure, with an optional
walk to the temple on the other side. Riverside
bonfire and bar-be~ue. Overnight camp.
Day 9. PANCHESHWAR / ABBOT MOUNT
Drive to Champawat 1 65 km I lying at the centre
of the wide wooded valley, the first capital of
the Chand rulers, is probably the most important
centre of Pithoragarh district. The surroundings
of the town are virtually littered with beautiful
wooden temples The Baleshwar and Ratneshwar temple
complexes are some of the fines examples of the
Chand dynasty's patronage. The exquisitely carved
temples containing some erotic figures, lie in various
stages of preservation in the valley. Other remnants
of the Chand legacy are the ruins of the fort and
the Naganath temple. Visit these temples and overnight
stay at the tourist rest house failing which at
camp.
Day 10. CHAMPAWAT / TANAKPUR
Drive further down the river and set up camp near
the small border town of Tanakpur, on the banks
of the Sarda (5 hrs). Rest of the day at leisure
to explore the forests or enjoy nature treks walks.
Overnight camp.
Day 11 . TANAKPUR
This stretch of the river does offer a bit of fishing
especially at Bhramkund and one can relax on the
vast beaches and swim in the pleasant waters, In
the afternoon make a short trip to a temple located
on the hills side.Walk along the jungle trails and
return to camp for overnight.
Day 12. TANAKPUR / DELHI
In the morning drive to Delhi 16 - 7 hrs).

DAY 1. DELHI / SAATTAL
Drive to Saattal arriving by lunch. Post lunch proceed
for a halt day tour to include Bhimtal and Naukuchiatal.
Return to the camp by evening . Bonfire and dinner
at the lakeside. Overnight camp.
Day 2. SMTTAL / CHAMPAWAT VIA RITHA
SAHIB
After an early breakfast drive to Champawat. Enroute
visit Ritha Sahib Arrive by lunch. Post lunch proceed
for a half day excursion to Mayawati to visit Swami
Vivekanand ashram. Return to hotel/guest house by
dinner. Overnight Champawat.
Day 3. CHAMPAWAT / PITHORAGARH
After breakfast drive to Pithoragarh. Enroute visit
Mt Abbot. Arrive by lunch and check into hotel Camp.
Post lunch visit to valley view point and sunset
point. Return to the camp by evening Bonfire dinner
and overnight in camp/hotel.
Day 4. PITHORAGARH / CHAKORI
After breakfast drive to Chakori. Enroute visit
Patal Bhubneshwar, the famous cave temple. Arrive
Chakori by lunch and check into the hotel I tourist
bungalow. Post lunch proceed for a nature walk
into the deer park. Return by evening dinner and
overnight Chakori.
Day 5. CHAKORI / ALMORA
After a leisurely breakfast drive to Almora to
arrive by lunch and check into the hotel. Rest
of the day free in Almora. Overnight Almora.
Day 6. ALMORA / RANIKHET
After breakfast drive to Ranikhet arrive by noon
and check into the hotel. Post lunch proceed for
a half day city sightseeing tour. Dinner and overnight
Ranikhet.
Day 7 . RANIKHET / NAINITAL
After a leisurely breakfast drive to Nainital.
Enroute visit Kainichi temple. Arrive by lunch
and check into hotel. Rest of the day free for
boating/shopping. Overnight Nainital.
Day 8 . NAINITAL
After breakfast proceed for a half day excursion
to Hanumangarhi. Arrive by lunch post lunch half
day sightseeing tour. Overnight Nainital
Day 9. NAINITAL / DELHI
AM - Free in Nainital.
PM - Drive to Delhi to arrive by evening.

1. KULLU VALLEY The apple
valley of Kullu is popularly known a.' "Valley
of Gods". According to local myth over three
hundred "Gods" pr in the three hundred
and sixty five villages of Kullu. During the Dus~
festival in autumn, grand processions are taken
out. Surrounding forests resound to the sound
of kettle drums and horns, heralding me advent
of Gods into Kullu. Short treks in and around
the valley provide interesting in into the life
of the local people. The village of Malana is
of special Mt where the inhabitants speak a different
dialect and are supposed to have originated from
the lost armies of Alexander the Great. Treks
up to the 40 Chandrakani Pass, the Manikaran sulfur
hot spring and Khir Ganga provide unforgettable
experience.
